Sarah! What an absolute honour to have you grace our June cover! How excited were you to be the cover of Playboy? Thank you, I am thrilled and it’s my second cover for Playboy! This time was especially unique since it is was my first shoot post “lockdown”. Not going to lie, but not having a normal routine the past nine weeks, and doing only home workouts made me nervous about shooting. However, I was thrilled to shoot my post “quarantine figure”. I find it gives another level of self-love and confidence.
Modelling is a big part of your life, could you tell us what inspired you to start and what your journey has been like to get to this point? Modelling has always interested me, even as a child. I recall going to visit my grandmother’s house in Houston, and she would take me to the book store to get fashion magazines. I loved looking through the shiny pages while dreaming to grace the pages myself. Fast forward to the last several years and I am accomplishing those dreams.
You look incredible, what are some of your favourite ways to work out? Thanks! I actually love lifting weights, it is something that I started about seven years ago and have made it part of my lifestyle. Lately, I have enjoyed doing more cardio on the bike which I normally don’t really do.
Tell us something surprising about you? I am also a published photographer, my work has been featured in many wedding magazines and billboards. I started my photography business at 21 and a few months later I actually did a boudoir shoot myself. It was so empowering and such a confidence booster for me. It was my desire then on to shoot boudoir as it encouraged every woman to see how truly beautiful they are.
Describe yourself in one sentence… I’m not easily defined.
Turn-ons: A true gentleman, respectful, fit and takes care of himself, passionate, honest, take charge kind of guy, a good set of shoulders, and of course a great sense of humour.
Turnoffs: Self-absorbed, dishonest, and being overconfident.
What makes you tick? Coffee, definitely! Truthfully my family does, they motivate me to push myself harder and not fail.
Thank you so much for sitting with us and letting us get to know a bit of you! Any last words for our readers out there? Of course, thank you for having me! I hope everyone enjoys the images because it is something that I love to do. It’s creating art in my eyes, whether I am in front or behind the camera.
