Always Stay True to Yourself!

Heya Renee, it’s great to have you. Could you tell us a bit about yourself and what got you started on your journey into modelling? Hello! Thank you for having me. A little bit about me, so hard when put on the spot. Im a fully qualified nail technician, I also have been dancing in a club for many years which I love and enjoy my freedom there. I’ve done a couple of smaller shoots for promotional work in the past for clubs and small brands in the adult industry, so I’m not shy in front of a camera! I find the process of the whole day, from makeup to hair to the outfit changes to be a really fun environment and seeing the end result is a massive confidence boost! Opportunities arise and I like to give myself a challenge. Hopefully I’ll be doing a lot more in the future and my journey continues.
Tell us about your shoot for Playboy, ‘cause we absolutely love the end product, wow… Started as a very early morning but ended being a beautiful day at the beach. We had a fun, easy going shoot. I really loved the outcome!
Who would you say inspires your style and what motivates your creativity? I don’t really have a specific style that I go with or take inspiration from, I like feeling good within myself and comfortable in whatever I wear. Motivation comes from wanting to feel good, so I just go with whatever works for me that day.
What would you say has been the highlight (or highlights) of your career so far and could you tell us more about that? This shoot is definitely the biggest highlight of my career so far! I feel like every teenage girl looks at the beautiful women on the magazines and hopes that one day they could do that. It’s a dream come true!
Do you have any role models or people that you look up to in the industry? There are so many wonderful, gorgeous women in this industry, it’s hard to narrow it down to specifics. I generally look up to people with a fun out look on everything and who enjoy the time while they’re working!
If you could work with any celebrity or brand who would it be and why? Miranda Kerr for her skincare line KORA Organics . I love a face routine, feeling good when not wearing makeup is the best feeling. Or Kim Kardashian for Skims, sometimes you just need a little something under a outfit to make you feel that extra bit of sexy. And I’m all for that!
Could you tell us about some of the special people in your life at the moment and how their support has pushed you to succeed? My mum has always supported me with everything I’ve done, she’s an incredible woman! My friends are always right there supporting me and pushing me to be my best all the time too. I love the special circle of people I have!
What advice can you give upcoming models that aspire to be just like you? Always stay true to yourself, don’t change because someone else wants you to. Do what you want and what makes you feel good. At the end of the day you have to feel good with yourself to be happy.
When you’re not hard at work or prepping for a shoot what are some of the things you love to do to relax and have fun? I love being at the beach or by the pool with friends. Going out for dinner and drinks and enjoying life. We all love binge watching a good series on Netflix too!
What part of yourself do you love the most, both physical and personality? Sounds so cliche to say but I actually really love my eyes, I’m always getting compliments on them and my eyelashes so that’s a bonus. I like that I’m bubbly and a fun person to be around!
Speaking of love, what’s your ‘type’ of guy, and what are a few things you find irresistible in a man? I don’t have a certain type I go for looks wise, obviously I need to find them attractive but they don’t all fit in to one category. I like someone who is kind, loyal, and trusting! But also someone who is strong and confident within themselves and stand up for what they believe in.
In a relationship what matters more, money and security, looks and chemistry, or is it a balance between the two? It’s a balance between both, I’d like someone who can hold their own and be okay and an individual without relying on their partner. I’m more than capable of living comfortably by myself I’ve been single for nearly 7 years. I’ve supported myself and I wouldn’t need to rely on a man for that. Nothing beats chemistry, if there’s no chemistry there can’t be a relationship.
Are you working on any new projects at the moment and where can we find out more? I am working on a couple of things at the moment. One being my own nail boutique, planning to open a place for that very soon. It’s something I love doing and creating beautiful nails for girls!
