Could you tell us a bit about yourself?  I was born on Vancouver Island, graduated high school early, and took on the big world at a young age. I’m well-traveled and always played sports. Volleyball was always my favorite! I now currently teach Pilates on the side of modeling.

Can you give us a background on your career and where it all started?  My modeling journey began when I was quite young, as it was always a huge dream of mine. I remember going to modeling interviews, the rejection, and the emotions that came with not only that but once you’re told so many times you can’t do something, unfortunately, you start to believe it. Over the years it’s taken a lot of trial and error but the power of perseverance is huge! Despite everything, I kept pushing to reach where I am today, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.

What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself? Throughout my journey, there were times of exhaustion, self-doubt, and lack of confidence to say the least. However, I have learned that I do what it takes to overcome the obstacles and hurdles placed in my path.

What is the biggest misconception people have about you?  When it comes to a misconception, the biggest I would have to say is that modeling is easy. Modeling takes immense time and dedication! There is so much more to modeling than what meets the eye. A hectic schedule can be exhausting and feel overwhelming at times. For me, meditation helps maintain my focus and clarity.

Do you have any hidden talents, if so what is it? My friends would say, comedian. I’m always quick and witty with my comebacks. Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of banter? Banter is the key to my heart after all.

In what ways do you use your platform to inspire or influence others? I’ve always remained my true authentic self by being honest with life’s trials whether it be ups or downs. I encourage others to dig deep and find the strength within to achieve their best self as it’s not always easy.

What message do you hope to convey through your work? I believe true beauty lies within, everyone with a good heart is uniquely beautiful.

How do you prepare mentally and physically for a big photoshoot or event? It’s crunch time!! No treats for this girl here. At these times I am most strict with my meal prep, planning, and meditation. However, when it’s all said and done, I do love to splurge on my favorite desserts!

When you’re not working, what helps you decompress and relax? I’m a true nature lover. There’s just something about the countryside’s fresh air and the dirt back roads that takes my breath away.

What’s the strangest fan encounter you’ve ever had? Okay, here it goes… to my surprise, a gentleman’s wife approached me while vacationing in Whistler, BC. She asked for a signed piece of, let’s just call it lingerie! She explained that she and her husband had recognized me from… that part’s a secret! Needless to say, I made their vacation a hit.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with only one accessory, what would it be? Hmm, what would it be!? A hammock to enjoy the sunset? No, no, wait! I’ll definitely need bug spray. Oh no, it’s getting dark! Yup, it’s a flashlight, definitely a flashlight as this girl is scared of the dark.

What’s your go-to guilty pleasure snack? I’ll scream for ice cream! I mean we all do, right? Ooft, nothing gets me like bubble gum and cotton candy on my sweet day.

Thanks for taking the time to speak to us, do you have any last words or advice for our readers? Stay focused and motivated to reach your goals, you are your biggest competition and hardest critic. Don’t forget beauty begins within.
